| 1. | Stand motorcycle upright (not leaning on jiffy stand) on a level surface. See Maintenance → GENERAL. | |
| 2. | Remove top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER. | |
| 3. | Remove seat. See Chassis → SEAT. | |
| 4. | Deactivate electrical system. See Electrical → POWER DISCONNECT. | |
| 5. | Remove bottom pan. See Chassis → BOTTOM PAN. | |
| 6. | Remove left and right side footrest brackets. See Chassis → RIDER FOOTRESTS. | |
| 7. | Remove sprocket cover, upper and lower belt guards. See Chassis → BELT GUARDS. | |
| 8. | Remove drive belt. See Electric Vehicle Powertrain (EVPT) → DRIVE BELT. | |
| 9. | Remove jiffy stand. See Chassis → JIFFY STAND. | |
| 10. | Remove rear fork. See Chassis → REAR BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER. | |
| 11. | Drain coolant. See Cooling System → COOLANT. | |
| 12. | Disconnect electric motor to coolant pump hose and battery charger to electric motor coolant hose. See Cooling System → COOLANT HOSES. | |
| 13. | Remove right side motor cover. See Chassis → SIDE COVERS. | |
| 14. | Remove motor to rear shock dog bone screw. See Chassis → REAR SHOCK ABSORBER. | |
| 15. | Relocate motor caddy and harness. See High-Voltage System → VEHICLE INLET. | |
| 16. | Disconnect the PEU from the electric motor. See High-Voltage System → POWER ELECTRONICS UNIT (PEU). |
