Prepare
1. Remove seat. See Chassis → SEAT.
2. Deactivate electrical system. See Electrical → POWER DISCONNECT.
3. Drain front brake lines. See Chassis → BLEED BRAKES.
Remove
1. Remove front master cylinder to ABS module brake line from front brake master cylinder. See Chassis → FRONT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER.
2. Remove front master cylinder to ABS module brake line from ABS module. See Chassis → ABS MODULE.
3. See Figure 1. Remove screw (3).
4. Separate brake line (2) from wire form (1).
5. Remove screws (4).
6. Remove grommets and P-clamps (5).
Install
1. See Figure 1. Install grommets and P-clamps (5).
2. Install screws (4). Tighten.
Torque: 5–7 N·m (44–62 in-lbs) Front brake line p-clamp screws
3. Install front master cylinder to ABS module brake line (2) in wire form (1).
4. Install screw (3). Tighten.
Torque: 5–7 N·m (44–62 in-lbs) Front brake line wire form screw
5. Install front master cylinder to ABS module brake line to front brake master cylinder. See Chassis → FRONT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER.
6. Install front master cylinder to ABS module brake line to ABS module. See Chassis → ABS MODULE.
