Prepare
1. Remove seat. See Chassis → SEAT.
2. Deactivate electrical system. See Electrical → POWER DISCONNECT.
3. Remove rear cover. See Chassis → REAR COVER.
4. Remove inlet side cover. See Chassis → SIDE COVERS.
5. Drain rear brake lines. See Chassis → BLEED BRAKES.
Remove
1. Remove ABS module to rear brake caliper line from ABS module. See Chassis → ABS MODULE.
2. Remove ABS module to rear brake caliper line from rear brake caliper. See Chassis → REAR BRAKE CALIPER.
3. See Figure 1. Remove screw (2) with p-clamp (1).
4. Remove line clip (3).
5. See Figure 2. Remove line clips (1).
6. Remove screws (2) and P-clamps (3).
7. Remove brake line.
Install
1. See Figure 2. Install brake line (4).
2. Install P-clamps (3) and screws (2). Tighten.
Torque: 5–7 N·m (44–62 in-lbs) Brake line, rear caliper to ABS module, p-clamp screw
3. Install clips (1).
4. See Figure 1. Install P-clamp (1) and screw (2) . Tighten.
Torque: 5–7 N·m (44–62 in-lbs) Brake line, rear caliper to ABS module, p-clamp screw
5. Install clip (3).
6. Install ABS module to rear brake caliper line to rear brake caliper. See Chassis → REAR BRAKE CALIPER.
7. Install ABS module to rear brake caliper line to ABS module. See Chassis → ABS MODULE.
