1.	Stand motorcycle upright (not leaning on jiffy stand) on a level surface. See Maintenance → GENERAL.
2.	Remove seat. See Chassis → SEAT.
3.	Deactivate electrical system. See Electrical → POWER DISCONNECT.
4.	Remove top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER.
5.	Remove rear cover. See Chassis → REAR COVER.
6.	Remove inlet side cover and lower motor cover. See Chassis → SIDE COVERS.
7.	Remove lower pan. See Chassis → BOTTOM PAN.
8.	Remove rear brake master cylinder. See Chassis → REAR BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER.
