Prepare
1. Remove top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER.
2. Remove rear cover. See Chassis → REAR COVER.
3. Deactivate electrical system. See Electrical → POWER DISCONNECT.
4. Remove tail section. See Chassis → TAIL SECTION.
5. Remove shock absorber. See Chassis → REAR SHOCK ABSORBER.
6. Drain front brake lines. See Chassis → BLEED BRAKES.
7. Remove ABS module cover. See Remove and Install: ABS Module Cover in this section.
Remove
1. Remove front master cylinder to ABS module brake line from front brake master cylinder. See Chassis → FRONT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER.
2. Remove front master cylinder to ABS module brake line from ABS module. See Chassis → ABS MODULE.
3. See Figure 1. Remove screw (3) and P-clamp.
4. Separate brake line from wire form (2).
5. See Figure 2. Remove screw (3) and P-clamp.
6. Remove grommets (2).
7. Remove line clips (4).
Install
1. See Figure 2. Install grommets (2).
2. Install line clips (4).
3. Secure brake line in brake line bracket (5).
4. Install screw (3) with P-clamp. Tighten.
Torque: 5–7 N·m (44–62 in-lbs) Brake line, both front lines, p-clamp screw
5. See Figure 1. Install front master cylinder to ABS module brake line (1) in wire form (2).
6. Install screw (3) with P-clamp. Tighten.
Torque: 5–7 N·m (44–62 in-lbs) Brake line, front master cylinder to ABS module p-clamp screw
7. Install front master cylinder to ABS module brake line to front brake master cylinder. See Chassis → FRONT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER.
8. Install front master cylinder to ABS module brake line to ABS module. See Chassis → ABS MODULE.

Complete
1. Install ABS module cover. See Remove and Install: ABS Module Cover in this section.
2. Install rear shock absorber. See Chassis → REAR SHOCK ABSORBER.
3. Install tail section. See Chassis → TAIL SECTION.
4. Activate electrical system. See Electrical → POWER DISCONNECT.
5. Fill and bleed brakes. See Chassis → BLEED BRAKES.
6. Install rear cover. See Chassis → REAR COVER.
7. Install top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER.
