1.	Stand motorcycle upright (not leaning on jiffy stand) on a level surface. See Maintenance → GENERAL.
2.	Remove top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER.
3.	Deactivate electrical system. See Electrical → POWER DISCONNECT.
4.	Detach right rider footrest bracket from frame. See Chassis → RIDER FOOTRESTS.
5.	Remove primary cover. See Electric Vehicle Powertrain (EVPT) → PRIMARY COVER.
6.	Loosen tensioner. See Electric Vehicle Powertrain (EVPT) → TENSIONER PULLEY AND IDLER SPROCKET.
7.	Raise the rear of the motorcycle. See Maintenance → GENERAL.
8.	Detach rear of shock from rear fork. See Chassis → REAR SHOCK ABSORBER.
9.	Remove ABS module cover. See Chassis → BRAKE LINES.
10.	Remove left lower side cover. See Chassis → SIDE COVERS.
11.	Remove high-voltage cable cover. See Electric Vehicle Powertrain (EVPT) → HIGH-VOLTAGE CABLE COVER.
12.	Disconnect high-voltage cable. See Electric Vehicle Powertrain (EVPT) → POWERTRAIN.
